The MAGA Con

This past Saturday morning (3/18/2023) Tramp posted on Truth Social that he will be arrested on Tuesday, 3/21/2021.  As has always been his style, Tramp went on to ask for money.  “If you are doing poorly, as so many of you are, do not send anything. If you are doing well, which was made possible through the great policies of the Tramp Administration, send your contribution” he wrote, listing his website as the place to send donations.  A bit of a muddled message since doing poorly was equally made possible through the great policies of the Tramp Administration.

It was a bit of a shock learning of Tramp’s imminent arrest – from Tramp himself – rather than Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, the individual who is supposed to be indicting him on charges related to a large payment to an adult-film (aka Porn) star.

However, three aspects of Tramp’s post assured everyone that it was indeed genuine; 1) It denied wrongdoing (really?); 2) It called for followers to PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK! much in the same way as his call to arms leading to the Jan. 6 insurrection, and 3) He asked for money, money, money!

It’s hard to describe his actions as anything other than tawdry. A former leader of a great nation defending himself against such cheesy charges.  No wonder so many followers want to disengage from the rest of the civilized world – they don’t want anyone looking at how utterly shoddy our politics have become.  So many of our politicians believe that vindictiveness and retribution is the way to run a country.  They think that acting like Yobs is a good thing!  I wonder where they got this idea from.

The Persians have the Aga Khan – a great leader who has the admiration and respect of the entire free world.
